Playing music always refreshes your mind and all the concerns are dissolved in the melodious music. The sweet and melodious sound of music calms our mind and keeps, stress and anxiety a step away from us. If you love music than you have different sources to cheer up and among them one of the sources is to play guitar. Playing Guitar in your own free time, with your mood, and your privacy is a very pleasant feeling. But there are people who love Guitar very much but they don’t know how to play it. For learning Guitar you should join regular classes but for a working man or women it is not possible to attend the classes. If you are one of them then try to learn Guitar at home by yourself. Don’t forget PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT. And playing Guitar is not that easy as you think. It needs practice to get the hook of it. Keep in mind that playing guitar is something that gives exercise to your fingers or you can say give frequent finger movements which are not used to it.

Beginner can start learning lessons given from free online sources. So they can manage with the time. For this first of all you have to buy good starter Guitar. Better avoid taking an expensive one as this is just the beginning to learn. Use simple learner Guitar or you can also borrow from your friend. Once you get the skills of playing the guitar, you can opt for your choice.

Take care while buying a new Guitar, it should be of appropriate size and right handed Guitar which is comfortable for you. Always purchase it from the music shop, so they will tune your guitar by adjusting strings properly to hold tenions to vibrate freely. Learn how to hold your guitar properly. Note the names of standard tunings E, A, D, G, B, and E, from lowest (low E2) to highest (high E4). Now try to learn guitar tabs. Try playing some simple guitar chords. Guitar chords can be easily found online. There are numerous videos on internet which can be helpful to you. To play guitar chords, place your middle and ring fingers on the 2nd frets of the 4th and 5th strings. Then place your index finger on the 3rd string, 1st fret. Strum all six strings. Make an E-minor chord by simply removing your index finger, leaving the 3rd string open.

Initially, you will find it difficult but on continuous practice, you will love & enjoy to play the guitar. You can first try practicing your finger movement and gradually play simple songs using simple chords. You will be a good guitarists if you have the dedication towards this instrument.     This actually inspires me to fulfill one of my oldest dreams – my dad used to play guitar and was very good at it (even had a band and all) but unfortunately never cared to teach me.. And I loooove the sound of guitar! So this might be the way to go! 😉
