WISHING ALL MY DEAR READERS AND FRIENDS, A VERY HAPPY DIWALI!!!
The happy festival of Diwali is almost upon us again. Diwali, or Deepavali, is the Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance. It is celebrated in honor of Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya after an exile of fourteen years. The festival is also linked to Goddess Lakshmi – the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. Also known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is traditionally celebrated by lighting diyas and candles, praying to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh and meeting friends and family to exchange Diwali greetings and gifts.
This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 19.
Here are some Diwali greetings for your friends and family:
Troubles as light as Air, Love as deep as the Ocean,
Friends as Solid as Diamonds, Success as bright as Gold…
These are the wishes for you and your family on the eve of Diwali.
Diwali ki Shubhkamana
Diwali is about bonding, of ritual,
of a belief that that good will always triumph over evil
for the dark night must always make way for morning light.
Wishing you a Happy Diwali.
A festival full of sweet childhood memories,
A sky full of lights,
Mouth full of sweets,
And heart full of joy.
Wishing You All A Very Happy Diwali!
May the light of the diyas guide you on the way to happiness and success. Happy Diwali to you and your family!
May the joyous celebration
