Recipe: Chana Chaat

Ingredients

  • 50gm kabuli chana (white)
  • 50gm desi chana (brown)
  • ½ chopped tomato
  • ½ chopped boiled potato50gm boiled green peas
  • 1 chopped onion<\li>
  • 2 tbspn red chili powder
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp mint chutney
  • 2 tsp seesam seeds
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp tamarind chutney
  • 1 spring onion chopped
  • Salt as per requirement

Directions

1Soak kabuli chana and desi chana for 4 to 5 hours. Cook it having 6 whistles in a cooker with slow flame.

2Take a bowl add both the chana’s, boiled green peas and finely chopped tomato, boiles potato, onion and spring onion into it.

3Mix it. Now, add finely chopped green chili, seesam seeds into it.

 

4Add both the chutneys, red chili powder and salt as per requirement.

 

5Squeeze lemon into it and add chaat masala. Mix all the ingedients well. Your Chana chaat is ready. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
