Blueberry Banana Smoothie

The best way to include some fruits in your diet is to make a quick, easy and refreshing smoothie. Just blend some fruits with milk or yogurt and you are all set to have a delicious smoothie. This smoothie has the goodness of blueberries and bananas. Blueberries are extremely healthy and nutritious. They are rich in antioxidants, may lower blood pressure, lower LDL cholesterol, and are low in calories. Blueberries help to improve memory and may help fight Urinary Tract Infections (UTI), whereas bananas are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and several other nutrients. Bananas can moderate blood sugar and also lower blood pressure. Bananas keep you full for longer which may reduce your appetite.

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 cup fresh/ frozen Blueberries
  • 2 cups Regular Milk/ Almond Milk/ Soy Milk
  • 1 tbsp. Honey optional
  • Method

    Take a blender jar and to it add roughly sliced bananas and blueberries. Blend them until smooth. Now add milk and a tablespoon of honey if desired and blend it for a minute. Delicious Blueberry Banana Smoothie is ready to serve!!!

    You can make many variations to this recipe. Just add your choice of fruit like apple, mango, or strawberries.
