Here are some simple home remedies that can cure dandruff

Coconut Oil & Lemon Massage.

Coconut oil nourishes your hair, while lemon juice helps to treat dandruff at home.
Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and mix it with equal amounts of lemon juice. Gently massage your scalp with this mixture. Leave it on for 20 minutes before rinsing if off with shampoo. Do it once a week to treat dandruff.

Curd /Yogurt.

Curd has acidic and conditioning properties that help fight dandruff. Apply some curd to your hair and scalp and leave it for about an hour.  Rinse it off with a shampoo. You can try doing this once in a week for soft and dandruff free hair.

Baking Soda.

Baking soda that is usually available in your kitchen is one of the best remedies for dandruff. It helps in providing an itch-free, flake-free scalp. Apply baking soda to your wet hair and rub it thoroughly on your scalp. Leave it for a minute or two. Rinse your hair with water.

Neem Leaves.

Neem has anti-bacteria, anti-fungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Neem  leaves are one of the most effective home remedy for dandruff.Grind a bunch of Neem leaves in a blender or bard processor to form a thick paste.  Apply this paste on your scalp and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Wash it off with water.

Olive Oil.

Massage your hair with olive oil and let the oil sit overnight. Wash it off the next day with your regular shampoo.

Henna or Mehndi

Henna has conditioning properties making your hair soft and luscious. You can cure dandruff with this simple henna remedy. Mix Henna or Mehndi, with black tea /coffee, curd and a dash of lemon juice. Leave this mixture aside for approximately 8 hours or overnight. Next, apply it on your scalp and hair. Leave it on for about 2 hours and then wash off thoroughly. You can repeat this once every 15 days to cure dandruff and cover grey hair too.

Fenugreek Seed / Methi Dana

Soak some Fenugreek or Methi seeds in water overnight. Drain the leftover water and make a paste. Apply the paste to your scalp. Let the paste sit for about an hour. Rinse it off with a mild shampoo.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the best home remedies for dandruff and hair fall. Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and set it aside. After a regular hair wash, apply the mixture on your wet hair. Massage your scalp well and leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing it off.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera cools your scalp and also mildly exfoliates the skin and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It is best to directly extract some Aloe Vera gel from the plant. It can be applied in the scalp and then washed off with a medicated anti-dandruff or mild shampoo.
Home remedies take time to show results, but they can effectively treat the problem completely.
